Doctors often refer patients to physiotherapists and sexologists for general perineal problems, including problems related to sexual relations, urinary incontinence, prolapsed (or dropped) organs and relationship issues that develop during this life-changing period. During difficult pregnancies, and after childbirth, gynecologists also refer to perineal physiotherapy in order to address various pathologies related to perinatality.
Active Solution Physiotherapy has created prenatal workshops with a physiotherapeutic perspective to better support families in the great adventure of having children from conception to recovery after the birth of a baby. Our intent is also to promote parents education about baby's motor development in the first few months and to prevent issues like flat head.
