Doctors often refer patients to physiotherapists and sexologists for general perineal problems, including problems related to sexual relations, urinary incontinence, prolapsed (or dropped) organs and relationship issues that develop during this life-changing period. During difficult pregnancies, and after childbirth, gynecologists also refer to perineal physiotherapy in order to address various pathologies related to perinatality.
Active Solution Physiotherapy has set up prenatal workshops with a physiotherapeutic and sexological perspective to better support families in the great adventure of having children from conception to recovery after the birth of a baby.

Laetitia, an expert in perineal physiotherapy for several years, is passionate about women's health. During her pregnancies and after the birth of her children, she realized that the perinatal follow-up for the parents could be better adapted to address specific needs and concerns She has therefore taken several specific training courses in perinatal care to provide comprehensive support and care for her clients. She will be able to answer your questions about the many physical changes that may occur during pregnancy and during the postpartum period.
Shanie, a sexologist who is also trained as a birth companion and for perinatal grief, has focused her practice on sexual reproductive health, parenthood and perinatal bereavement. Shanie is committed to informing and supporting parents as they go through this new and often unfamiliar phase of life full of surprises and providing the resources to remove the many taboos associated with the psychosexual development of adults and children. She will be able to answer your questions regarding emotional and intimate changes that accompany pregnancy and the post-partum period.
