GENERAL INFORMATION
Did you know that many studies show that physical activity during pregnancy is beneficial for your health? When there are no contraindications from your doctor, being physically active during the pregnancy is associated with increased well being for the mother and baby. Some benefits include decreased back pain, reduced risk of pregnancy complications, and a decrease in prevalence of mental health issues.
Our physiotherapy technologist, Jasmine Romain, will guide you during your exercise sessions. She has been active throughout her life and is passionate about encouraging people to stay active in order to maintain a balanced lifestyle and stay healthy. As a physiotherapy technologist, her goal is to demonstrate to her patients that they have the tools necessary to achieve their goals, whether small or large.

- Promote activity in pregnancy
- Educate participants on appropriate core exercises
- Teach moms-to-be how to adapt physical activity to pregnancy
- Discover your pelvic floor muscles and the benefits of breathing exercises

COURSE INFORMATION
- Duration & Price: to be determined
- Require equipement
- A strong Internet connection (ideally close to your WiFi router)
- A webcam or a device with a camera: the therapist needs to see you from head to toe
- A yoga mat (recommended)
- 2 small pillows or pillow and 1 yoga block
- A space appropriate for exercise
- Light weights: 2-5 lbs or 2 cans of soups
- A stable and sturdy chair (no wheels)
- Yoga strap or long towel
- Sport shoes
- A water bottle

An insurance receipt will be issued for physiotherapy technologist services, or the clinic may be able to submit the claim directly to your insurance company in certain cases. Participants are not required to do a physiotherapy assessment before registering for classes, although it is recommended.
We require a deposit for the full price of the course the same day of the course, at any time before it begins. If your insurance reimburses directly, we can refund you the deposit for the amount your insurance covered, or you can choose to keep a credit on file to apply to future courses or treatments at our clinic.
