Michael obtained his Occupational Therapy (OT) degree in 2000, at McGill University, where he equally received a bachelor's degree in Physiology, having graduated previously in 1996.
With 15 years of OT experience under his belt, in private practice, Michael specializes in work hardening programs aimed at getting patients back to work gradually & successfully, with as less pain as possible, after a physical injury. Having excelled for many years in first line treatments, Michael is also capable of switching gears and delivering intensif rehab programs, with the ability to pilot an entire interdisciplinary team, if required (also known as "Line 2" services). He can deliver Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE), as well as work-site evaluations and analyses.
Michael's strong suit is not only his ability to listen attentively and display patience with respect to his clientele, but his ability to show empathy and respect as well, offering nothing less than top-tier quality service. Always motivating his clients, Michael stands apart with his natural kindness and enormous sense of humor, all of which affords a pleasant and stimulating work environment aimed at helping patients to see the light and to regain their full autonomy, as it pertains not only to work, but to their activities of daily living, as well as their hobbies.
Michael's main hobbies include sports (baseball, softball, hockey, jogging), and music. He also loves to travel and is quite the movie buff.
