Pamela is a therapist who is passionate about healthcare. She has been working for many years as a home support and personal care worker for the elderly population. In 2013 she completed a course in massage therapy, at Kiné-concept, in order to learn more about the muscular system and how to help people relax.
Pamela is active in sport and thus, in September 2013, she continued her education with Kiné-concept’s course in Sport Massage Therapy. In this course she learned many more important techniques for working with athletes, such as postural mobilisation and fascial therapy.
Last April, Paméla was trained on the contemporary method of cupping, also known as cupping therapy. This technique was popularized by Michael Phelps at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Pamela now has a total of 715 hours of training in massage therapy and has done several internships with athletes, including with circus school, ringette, diving, swimming and ultimate Frisbee. She plans on continuing to improve her skills with further courses in reflexology and lymphatic massage. On top of being a passionate massage therapist, Pamela is a very good listener and will give you advice regarding posture, relaxation techniques and stretching.
